What is Read&Write?
The Read&Write extension for Google Chrome™ provides personalized support to make documents, web pages, and common file types in Google Drive more accessible. The Read&Write extension is available for any MPS teacher or student.
Annotating a PDF?
Use OrbitNote. The OrbitNote extension has many of the same features as Read&Write, allowing you to annotate and interact specifically with PDFs.
Install Additional Read&Write and OrbitNote Extensions
Note: Staff need to install Read&Write and OrbitNote extensions to view any documents that were annotated by students.
READ&WRITE AND ORBITNOTE EXTENSIONS For Students
The Read&Write extension is already installed on all MPS Student Chrome books when students are signed in to Google Chrome. Learn how to sign in to Google Chrome.
The Orbit Note extension is NOT installed for students automatically. To install OrbitNote, students must sign in to Google Chrome and then visit the OrbitNote page on the Chrome web store to add OrbitNote to Chrome.
